How Does it work?

1. Reach Out!

   Send us an email to sales@key-pop.com. Include details about your brand, fan base and what makes your project special. Our team will take a look and brainstorm some ideas. We will reach back out to you to set up an initial meeting for further details.

2. Send Reference images/models

   During or after our initial meeting, you’ll share as many relevant photos, game models, and even fan arts as you want. Need a few touch-ups on your models? Our art team is always ready to “cutify” your designs for keychains.

3. Get Proofs in the Mail

   We’ll send you a few pre-production keychains you can play with and give feed back on. Give one to your friends, parents, siblings, streamers, etc…see what your fans do or don’t like. We’ll make any necessary changes before we move to full production. One round of physical proofs is always free, but we may charge for additional rounds.

4. Sign With Us!

   We’ve been together this far…it’s time to make it official. Let’s get together to sign some papers and get things rolling. Some of our contract is boiler-plate, but we understand that no two keychain designs are alike and will adjust according to your needs.

5. List your Product

   Once production begins, we can make your keychains are available to the world! Anyone can buy them on our webstore, through our affiliated retailers, and we’ll start marketing them too. At this point you can order them in bulk as well! You’ll generally pay the same wholesale rate as our retail partners, but don’t forget about the next section: ROYALTIES!!!

6. You Get Paid

   We pay a flat-rate royalty of 50¢ per keychain, which works out to about 12% of revenues. That means you get paid more when we sell more keychains, including the ones you buy yourself. We distribute royalties bi-annually which means you get a check in the mail, or your preferred method, every January and July.

all these terms are negotiable, but small brands benefit the most from the default terms.
